Christmas Linger Longer

Judy, Sister Le, and Carolyn pose at the Linger Longer Luncheon
The beautiful and talented Sister Le (above photo, center) is originally from Vietnam.  She is currently serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Whittier.  She and the other two lady missionaries who serve in our ward are very special ladies.

For our Christmas program on the Sunday before Christmas, Sister Le and the other two missionaries treated us to a beautiful rendition of Silent Night, sung in Vietnamese, with a ukulele accompaniment.

I know that may sound weird to you, but it was beautiful.

The Sister Missionaries of the Pickering Ward
The Sister missionaries bring a special light with them wherever they go.  They are great!

Brother Gonzales, Bishop Rodriguez, Brother McKeon, and Brother Polhamus in the cultural hall
We had a nice visit as we munched on the various foods people had brought.  There were lots of yummy things to eat, from salads to sandwiches to desserts.

In line for the Linger Longer Luncheon
I live in a great ward full of lots of good people.
