The Pajama Game

Opening tonight!  The Whittier Community Theatre proudly presents The Pajama Game for a three weekend run.  Don't miss this highly entertaining musical comedy!

Labor relations have never been so entertaining - or romantic!

When Sid Sorokin, the new Sleep Tite pajama factory supervisor, locks horns with the fiery union rep, Babe Williams, sparks fly!

The Pajama Game is full of wonderfully familiar tunes, hits like "Hey There", "Steam Heat" and "Hernando's Hideaway".

Doris Day and John Raitt (Bonnie's Dad) did the film version

This show was a Tony Award winner for Best Musical of 1954, and won another Tony in 2006 for Best Revival.

Harry Connick, Jr. (sigh) starred in the 2006 Revival on Broadway

This is a show I saw on Broadway in its original run when I was 4 years old.  The music has stuck with me all these years!

You will have a great time.  I can't think of a better way to spend an evening in Whittier.

Performances are at 8 p.m. on September 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, and 20, with a Sunday matinee on the 14th.

The Whittier Community Theatre group performs in the City's Community Center.  Look for the blue awning.
